It is not a mistake that today I have become your leadership strategist, neither am I being bias for advocating for women in leadership. All of these I’m doing is a result of my ever increasing appetite for healthy and positive change in the world.

I have heard countless people say that they want to become leaders at all cost, like majority of the politicians would have it and I stand to marvel if they understood what those words actually meant and then again I realize… they don’t know 😔.
.
I have this friend who has always wanted a car at all cost, he saved up and got this car, but after about 4 months, he said he was tired of driving the car. I asked what his reason was, he wouldn’t give any answer but later he voiced out how much frustrated he has become with the car always giving him various problems to solve aside the regular maintenance.
.
Human being naturally have this nature in them, they want to have the feel of a Boss, order people around and tell them what to do yet never consider if they are ready for such opportunity.

You must come to understand that leadership is responsibility on the battlefield and not a playground for babes not ready to grow. Leadership is war! It requires that you fight mediocrity, complacency, procrastination, laziness, foolishness, insecurity and many others in their tens and hundreds on a regular basis, AND YOU MUST ALWAYS win if you want to remain relevant.

Why not consider all of these things before running around the whole place with placards in your hands. Don’t be like my friend who wanted a car without envisaging the maintenance of the car which is the real deal of owning a car.
