How To Best Leave Your Current Job, If You're Fed Up...

It is understandable if anyone loses interest in a job, I mean, there are several valid reasons as to that why that is, which I fear time and space won’t permit us to consider, but really, whatever the reason may be for your loss of interest, and engagement on a job, valid or not, don’t let it wrongly influence how you leave the Organization.

Somebody once said to me, how you enter into an Organization does not really matter, but how you leave the Organization matters so much it has the capability to rename you permanently.

Following your storyline, It’s obvious that your severance days are counting down now that you have zero level of job involvement, unless such is corrected appropriately, but if not, try your possible best to leave good vibes behind, don’t reduce the quality of your work because you know you’re leaving, don’t give up on your routine tasks as apportioned, some would even choose to become unnecessarily rude to their employer, don’t do that, instead, give your very best, that your severance is considered a negative turn over even.

What I’m teaching you is called professionalism, I’m sure you know what that means, nothing more. If you must excel in your industry, you’ve got to know when to work regardless how you feel.

In my Book, Letter to the young African Professional, I touched on the issue around lost interest in one’s current job. Please visit the link in bio to get your copy.

I’m rooting for your success!
